What's wrong with Spain these days? They try to play tiki-taka but now they don't have the players for it so it just looks like boring, uninspired possession football. 

And as I say it they put up a smashing performance :)

Well they were 6 minutes from elimination and still managed to get one in. Kudos to Hungarians they have my respect though

Honestly I always found them boring :P even in 2010-2012 period…ball leke nachte rehte the bas …Germans were much more of a watchable team

@Jurgen_klopp FFP rules have been useless from the beginning. How come Barca and Real are burried in $1 billion of debt if they have been compliant with FFP all these years?

@SergioRamos Cap on wages and transfers can be placed even without the Super League. That can't be the only reason to have a Super League.

Transfer windows have been about how badly a club wants someone rather than how much they are worth for like 7-8 years now. There was a time when a peak Robin van Persie was transferred for a mere 25mn

@Jurgen_klopp that is true to a good extent no doubt but remember back when Christain Benteke was bought by Liverpool for close to 50mn...this was done after they sold sterling and were looking to replace Suarez. So despite the English tax, the transfer market since 2014 has been largely absurd especially when the player is younger than 25-26 and the poaching club is short in that position. Recent exhibit: harry maguire to United for 80mn

@Jurgen_klopp basically what I am trying to say is that if a club badly wants a player the parent club in England charges real heavy regardless of actual worth of the player.
