CSE 2022: Plan/ Strategy/ Daily Routine

This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. This is a no-judgement zone.

--------

“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don't get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can't do anything, don't get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it's ready to come undone. You have to realize it's going to be a long process and that you'll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

— Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

@ThePhenom Same boat. The scared yet ambitious me feels validated when it comes from someone else. Ideally, it should be our own inner voice that is enough, but it's okay to rely on support, we all need it. I sort of made a list of bare minimums- which has like newspaper, optional 2 PYQ in it. So this is mandatory on any given day. It sets me for a small target and anything above that every day is a win. I think I used to always plan a lot and set myself up for failure only. Then became my own biggest critic. So amending that in a way slowly :) Hope it helps anyone who reads this!

what do you guys think about listening to music while reading?

@pilgrim  yes Instrumentals (got to know about symphonies because of this) but sometimes I blame slow reading speed on music. I don't know is it right to do so.

Hiii people. Good to see you guys putting up daily updates will be joining you guys for sometime now.

As I move towards prelims dominated preparation guided by SFG I am feeling little anxious and nervous because prelims has been my great fear and as@Neyawn says if it has happened it can happen again. So beating my own fears is the objective, which also includes waking up at 6 in winters.

09/01/2022    Day-01

1. SFG Targets

2. Newspaper

3. Ode+nm G20 targets

If someone can suggest me is it better to go with SFG daily targets for GS or follow our own schedule and then give the test? I feel its too much to complete the daily targets. Especially Polity with 10-15 chapters a day.
