Just finished lawschool. Preparing for 2024. First attempt. Any important tips from veterans here, bata do pls. Mental health ki dhajjiyaan udne se kaise roka jaaye. Little things to incorporate in the prep to feel a tad bit better, composed.
1.Don't compare yourself to others, stay focused on ur own journey and leave footprints behind.
2.Hard work is more important than having genius
3.DISCIPLINE-suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret
4.start studying within the first hour of waking up .If u don't do this ur mind will forcibly push u towards negative thoughts.
5.practice,practice and practice:whether it be prelims mock papers or mains answer writing if u don't test urself u will fail even before upsc will fail u.
6.Quietly,scecretly work towards progress,not perfection.(Perfection is the enemy of Good )
7.Embrace solitude when u don't find the right company.
and lastly believe in urself.

Polity one is extremely extremely good ,that I can assure you.with lots of fact content ,kucch guess karkae predict vhi Kiya hua hai,Jo upsc puch sakte hai future Mai in any exam.

for prelims?
Yeah recently launched ,prelims toolkit includes PYQs too along with practice question booklets.
I am unable to even look at laxmikant.Just unable to.
This is my 4th prelims.
2021- 55 marks.(6-7 polity questions wrong)
2022- 76 marks (3 wrong)
2023- 80-85 marks.. from coaching keys.(2 wrong..charter act and schedule area)
But still I am not at all able to read polity..more importantly unable to see laxmikant.

@DM yes I know I am taking too much stress :DI am just unable to visualise me clearing prelims.I badly want to clear pre this time..

Just focus on SFG right now and get the ticket for mains,agar wai acchae sai kar liya to samajh jawao prelims vhi ho jayga .

Go and watch Natasha video ( u tube forum ).
If you are not able to go through laxmikant you can follow any of these strategies-
1. Can watch videos on youtube (of specific topics)
2.Can solve tests sectional and full lengths of polity it will help you to go through all the important topics
3. Can follow any book which gives summary of laxmikant ( i think forum has released a red book on this)

You need to read fast while revising. If the flipping of pages doesn't reduce every time you revise, you are probably doing something wrong.
