Thank you DM bro 😀
@Master chalo thank God bhai. I am not the only one who thought that.Plus iss baar toh peripheral topics se question pucha.
Yeah but our sample size is miniscule. We need more people to hear it out.
@Master yeah man, let's see.. aur log dekhenge toh pata chalega
tedmoselby the architect?
I am no knight. Do not call me Sir
Also for TS, I don't think they are of any use now. Attempt PYQs of IFoS and CSE properly in exam mode.
Paper 1:
- Found it very lengthy and did many silly mistakes e.g. I got even the p, q limit question wrong.
- It seems that either the question was simple and super lengthy or the question involved some trick (unlike recent previous year papers).
- I left 30 marks in sec A due to paucity of time (e.g. the paraboloid triple integral, the circle ABC and cone). Did everything else correctly in sec A except the extreme point question. Then in sec-B, left 20 marks straightaway in ques 5 due to the laplace and statics question. Further, one part of SHM or vector differentiation might be partially wrong.
- Overall, there were lesser questions from conventional topics and mandatory questions were harder. Even simple questions had heavy and involved calculations and more chances of screwing up. But given the competition, I can easily see people scoring 180-200 (without scaling).
Paper-2:
- Q1 went well - abstract algebra was doable (though didn't consider the `onto` keyword in homomorphism) and couldn't solve the x=1 part in the series convergence.
- Other questions in sec-A: Did the abstract algebra ones but somehow got even the simplex question wrong (I know I should have practised more). Also left 30 marks due to lack of time.
- Sec-B - mandatory question was mostly straightforward except the streamlines one was involved and the binary subtraction was tricky. Attempted only one other question in sec-B - the wave eqn one but probably messed up the boolean algebra question (as I didn't have much time left).
- Overall, barring the focus on abstract algebra, I think this paper was mostly on the expected lines. Again, 180-200 not too hard for veteran folks.
@Neyawn Sir, one might start preparation now and get a good rank in CSE 2024 while someone who is preparing for years may flunk.
What separates them ?
Thoughts 🤔?

Psir के शेर किधर हैं ?
How was paper 2 of Psir ?
For me 10 markers were difficult. The others were fine.
But I royally messed up Paper 1. Couldn't complete the paper due to some dizziness. For a 20 marker only two pages and for 2*15 markers 1.5 pages each.Of all the problems I had in PSIR mocks, paper completion wasn't one among them. What a rather sad end to this attempt.🥲
