@Neyawn  Sir,I have filled my name according to my 10th marksheet (acc to UPSC instructions) ie “Name- Middle name- Surname”. But my name on Aadhar is “Surname-Name”. Is this going to be an issue in the future?

This should not be a problem. Vice versa usually is a bigger problem.

But try to reconcile the two. Get changes in AADHAR made.

@Neyawn Sir, I had shaved my head for some reason few weeks back. Do the instructions include having similar hair style/size as well in all the three phases of the exam?

I have thought of delaying the form filling by Feb 29th to have at least some hair, and will try to update it on 10th/11th March as well. However, it still won't look normal.

So, what should I do? Will I have to go bald in all three stages of the exam?

I have uploaded the photograph without writing the name and date. Will it be rejected?

Also i got 7.2 cgpa in my graduation, so to write it in percentage, i had written 72% for the same. Is it correct?

1. Photograph u can change

2. Not 72% it's 68.4 ,u can write 68 % ( multiply the CGPA with 9.5 )

@Sada33 every university has the formula for converting cgpa to %

Sir, does the photograph have to be uploaded in square dimensions? In the notification they have mentioned 550 x 550 pixels (minimum) and 1000 x 1000 pixels (maximum). I took that to mean that the width and height both have to between 550 and 1000 pixels, and uploaded a rectangular dimensioned photograph. However, on uploading the photograph, it is displayed in a square frame for preview, and as a result is quite distorted (elongated breadth-wise).
Will the preview photo be printed on my final form, or will the aspect ratio be maintained in it?

Do I need to scan my photo mandatorily? My cybercafe wala clicked my photo on phone and then added name, date and resized it according to dimension and it's within the kb provided. However, it is not scanned version of a hardcopy,  it's the soft copy which is resized. Will that create a problem? Please please let me know

Sir,

I use spectacles. But I had uploaded photograph without spectacles. Did I have to change it when correction window opens.

@DM do we have to round off the decimals? for instance if it's 82.6%, should it be written as 82?
