@Neyawn btw bud is part of orn in containment zone from tomorrow ?

@Patrick_jane yeap not like it was safer yesterday n got risky today....plus in delhi or any city any area can come under containment anytime now. Risk whatsoever is practically same wherever ur in delhi or may be country as while delhi is in community transmission...how n when u come to interaction with a covid positive is just matter of luck now. But yeap now from yashodhara to water tank part of orn is in containment ..they have placed barricade n steel metal sheets on streets. But part from yashodhara towards vaji n gangaram is not...

Conspiracy theory...

Division seems more inspired by ease of blockage n absence of major market (economic activities) n school rather than visible cases... obviously official ppl have better info... rumour.here is that remaining orn will also come into containment in next week. But that seems more like rumour plus luckily vr 3 months down the line in disease so whatsoever be the duration n restrictions it probably be curtailed compare to what it wud have been in March/ April.

@Agog  hot spot probably may as well be BLK that's more near to containment areas then gangaram...rest many be staying rent free or at very accommodating price currently sply till July end..

Plus few don't have option of going home due to various reasons..

@Phagocyte imo that can happen till Feb march or well later into next year...not just covid traffic stops have also stopped ppl in past....so either govt need to decide that we go for complete lockdown. Safe people life from one disease , economic cost n other disease burden be damn. Other approach which a developing country have to follow this late into disease is opening economy n taking measures so that hospitals are not overun plus u check susceptible early n have reduced mortality. Covid cannot be focus say post sept, as much as we want to other medical cost n impairments are coming closer to covid due to there relative ignorance.

So if govt think it's okay for a market area to open, metros to run xyz.... conducting one exam shudnt be big deal...follow same protocol they think is relevant for neet -ug ( which more than likely be done by sept or earlier) can be followed wrt cse. Personally if they start postponing it too much they might as well cancel the whole vacancy for this ye n conduct 2021 say in march.

@JackFarmer 2/3 are open but even in one i go hardly 5-7 ppl coming since last week...n among them also couple planning to go home...if u can stay n study at home no better option sply till July end...

@Agogi honestly thought they are talking about 15 aug 2021... they probably will complete phase 1&2 together in approx 20 day ie July n start phase 3 by aug mid etc...which they may claim as availability of vaccine . But even if the safety data of this vaccine alongside mass production is done by aug 2021...that be huge achievement

This is trusting old vaccine technique n hoping both vaccine n virus attenuated strain works...shot in dark , eco n political compulsions....

But this may for few be as risky as disease itself... probably it won't be available for those due to distribution n production factors....Oxford vaccine still seems best bet for India.

Btw it's getting harder to hold on to sanity n reading alone through this economic , psychological n medical disruption....just waiting in delhi n waiting for antibody testing.... negative raha toh going home...but probably nahi hoga...

@vikkyanthro28607  not a option....naah padhai hone vali  plus grandparents n other family members ka risk...plus waiting for confirmation but most likely already a recovered case

@Agog one reason is needless political criticism of cases rather than say mortality etc ...that stupid delhi govt minister statement that to highlight that he be awesome in controlling Virus...said 6.5 lakh when he very well knew that won't happen but how to show 1.5/2lakh in awesome perspective say 6 lakh..

@Nalanda actual figure today be over 20+ percent as seropositive test have lag of 2 weeks so they are represent situation say of early June...but I guess new york etc were also around same mark once there peak was over...rest definitely a positive as less percentage of susceptible....delhi on route to become relatively safest among big cities...

Coming to forum after one or two months and see all this makes u appreciate decision to avoid visit n stick to ur books in offline mode in lib...neet is in sept ours in Oct..even postponed hua toh b max 15-20 days sort ...won't make much difference...voh alag baat I hope they postponed it n club two years as this year focusing on neet-pg but lagta nahi karenge...either neet pg or cse...both probably on time +-15 days

@Haryana because those who go there are generally one who are going out for grocery shopping, tea plus due to lack of seeing any serious cases in our age group in delhi..plus honestly library me herd immunity ya weak virus/strong immunity se protection mile toh alag baat baki mask no mask staying 12 hrs in enclosed spaced...are precautions will have limited impact...vaise hum b un daring logo me se h...ab tak sab zinda

@Equalizer precisely agar inhe postponed karna hota based on data they wud have already come up with guidelines etc...lack of those means unless it becomes politically unviable they will carry on with exam as they need to open school colleges. If they can't conduct a single day exam how can school colleges be open all through the week
