How was your paper? How did you approach the paper?

Not going to comment on how the paper went till 16th evening... I'm just glad that half of the process is over..
Just a matter of few days now.. Relax for some time if you want...give rest to your hands.. But dont waste time in these 5 days.. Optional can make or break ur chance in getting that interview call..
P. S: Koi meal ni di upsc ne toh.
Also, It was raining cats and dogs whole day yesterday.. I even got fever because of the sardiii... and couldn't revise much last night.. I'm just glad that the fever ended last night itself.
At my centre, only water rained. No cats and dogs. Don't know about your centre. 🤷🏻♂️

@itsvarun focus on optionals now as it can be a make or break situation..had left 105 marks in gs last year but was able to secure an interview call though got only 237 in optional(left around 50 marks here as well)..all the best for optionals and language paper(don't take it too lightly)..

@SnowLeopard Don't be surprised. It happens. I attempted 190 in GS1 last year (because didn't know much about Art and Culture and didn't write random things). My friend attempted 250. I had 85. He had 73.
While I agree with your pov that completion doesn't guarantee higher score but there's more to it.
Probably you might've scored higher than 85 if paper was completed. Also chances are you had better structure and content compared to your friend.

Guys, can you tell me since the निबंध and essay are of 600 words in essay paper, so how do we approach them?
Do we need to reduce the size of the paragraphs from 8 line per para to 4-5 lines per para or do we need to put less dimensions?
Also guide do we need to write the same content as given in Reading Comprehension or we can write answers in our own words as well?

@Purplesunbird I did not intend to suggest that one should attempt less. The more you attempt the better it is. But if you are attempting for the sake of attempting thinking that filling 2 pages will get you at least 2-3 out of 10 then I don't think it works that way. Maybe 1 or 0 for irrelevant stuff.
