CSE 2022: Plan/ Strategy/ Daily Routine

Okay I started out being intimidated by everyone's targets and posts here. I have been truly struggling to do this again for the 3rd time after missing the mains again this year. I am still to finish my optional notes (History)

I am 60 percent through Modern history. I feel like I am so slow and everyone seems to be doing so so so smoothly.

However, I am also inspired by the perseverance and dedication the forum brings. I shall borrow some of this from you guys.

The target for December:

1) Finish Modern notes

2) Finish World H notes

3) Revise Laxmikant, Geography Ncerts

4) Current Affairs Oct-Nov 2021

Phew! Thank you guys for being such awesomesauce badass people that you all are :)

Kurzweil's law explains that change, evolution, is exponential. It's not linear. The more we progress. The better we become at progressing. Thus, we progress faster.

1) Clean the study space

2) Newspaper and quick notes

3) Finish SSRM

4) Finish Indian Response ( Peasant Revolutions) and if you are on fire then gun for 1857 revolt too.

5) Research paper for ethics class and attend college lecture

6) Day 2 of Workout.

7) Sleep before 11

Finally smile while you do these :)

Last month of 2021 guys, enjoy the study routine, all the best!

Hello beautiful humans,

Thank you for being an awesome supportive community. Pat yourself for getting this far. It is common to set targets and goals on the last day of the year under the high of fresh start NYE gives. However, take it with a pinch of salt and not overdo it. It's always the tiny daily steps and actions. A reminder for myself which I thought would help us all.

Targets for January

1) Revise Modern H and give 3 tests

2) Finish Ancient History and give 3 tests

3) CA and Quiz- June, July, Aug 2021 and revise them once

4) Attempt 2 Essay tests

5) Quant practise from Testbook ( Daily 10 Q)

@ThePhenom Same boat. The scared yet ambitious me feels validated when it comes from someone else. Ideally, it should be our own inner voice that is enough, but it's okay to rely on support, we all need it. I sort of made a list of bare minimums- which has like newspaper, optional 2 PYQ in it. So this is mandatory on any given day. It sets me for a small target and anything above that every day is a win. I think I used to always plan a lot and set myself up for failure only. Then became my own biggest critic. So amending that in a way slowly :) Hope it helps anyone who reads this!
