my take: to be in a good mental space

i) avoid hate: limit yourself from news and try to switch from youtube/tv to print media.

ii) give yourself some time before reacting on someone because most of the times we regret it mostly what we say at bad times which can hurt your stability.

ii) accept the silence: the less you speak the more you will get valued.

ii) don’t share everything: you will end up regretting most of the times about what you’ve shared with someone so limit it to yourself and learn what to share and what not (takes time but saves you from depression/regrets)

ii) avoid useless arguments: there are talks about anything-everywhere it’s not necessary to prove your point everyday. most of the times you will end up wasting hours on nonsense debates so better to save it by filtering your thoughts and knowledge by yourself.

ii) categorise people around you: important, close friends, time consuming, negative, positive, same vibes, travel buddies, movie buddies. and prioritise them accordingly. i know it sounds discriminatory but it’s your life think on it.

ii) take and give: always give time/space to important and close friends otherwise you can’t expect from them

iv) don’t be a mindless scrolling machine: use social media (including YT) according to your needs and don’t let them decide what you will watch and for how long instead it should be your decision. erase your watching/search history everyday to avoid recommendations and things based on your

likes/interests.

iii) don’t watch trash movies/songs: it’s not about only your entertainment. the entertainment industry is far ahead than you can think. don’t waste your time watching meaningless things at the end what you watch will decide how you will behave and think hence choose wisely. Maybe some educational or social issue based movie over toxic masculinity entertainer??

(Have you ever thought of becoming something just because you’ve watched movie based on that profession although might be good sometimes)

ii) eat healthy: what’s the connection between the food and mental health? well i don’t have scientific paper to throw at you but still your diet has many effects on your thoughts and overall behaviour so eat less and eat simple

i) nobody cares: family members or close friends? you might not be old enough but at the end nobody cares whatever you do it’s about you for you sounds selfish but that’s it what it is.

P.S.

ii) it’s just an opinion and has nothing to do with my degree in psychology.

iii) my english is not that good thenks for baring with it.

ii) you should disagree with some points cause everyone cannot have exactly the same mental space and same people around you…

That’s it
