@Neyawn I thought this was an opinion poll question before reading your comment. Accidentally, marked correct answer.

@Neyawn an accountable government sir?

As direct democracy can be without representatives as well!

Always.

In this community if I nominate some members as moderators, making sure the group is diverse, it will still not be democratic despite being representative because these appointed mods do not have accountable to the members.

Representation is an important condition for democracy , but not a sufficient condition.

Also, tolerance for dissent remains another important criteria for democracy.

@Neyawn Accountability because it is a social contract. Hard to imagine a totalitarian but accountable govt. A good + welfare + representative totalitarian govt of elites can still be imagined. Good Govt probably Saddam's Iraq & Gulf Countries, Welfare Govt. Stalinist Russia, Diversity/Representative again Stalinist Russia/USSR with Reps from across Russia, CCP's plenum had Reps from country (Rep/Diversity is easy by doing tokenism). Accountability & Answering Questions is heavy lifting.

Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people.

that's why I have marked as option D i. e , accountable govt.

The annual experience is that ones who really need to do SFG Level 1 think they are too smart or too early for SFG L1. And the ones who are really smart , and dont need SFG at all, often do both.

Last year when I was taking One on One's with Interview students, there were so many people - who were appearing for the Interview - which means they had cleared prelims ( and mains ) , after the session, used to have the common request that please allow me to re-join SFG after 2 weeks break from it because of interview prep.

That was the level of sincerity ( and respect for prelims ). The dude not making it through prelims is always busy preparing and topping optional in an imaginary world till the last moment. Harsh, but true.

If one has made about 70-75% notes of mains topics( considering topics based on MGP tests) , and read basics of optional(about50-55%) , but has been unable to attempt many of those tests since NOT INTERNALISED the notes yet, should he fpcus on the mains notes first, or hop on to prelims ( first prelims was with 2-3 month preparation)?  Though have made notes, but since haven't internalised, it seems like no preparation done yet!(though lot of hard work went into the process) . Also since its first version of notes, they are Lengthy, like not the "too compacted " ones.

what should be the way ahead?
( In need of advice ⭐)

Democratic government is inherently accountable.class10 ncert second last chapter outcomes of democracy, accountability is given there. however the key in such questions is not to get to excited merely because the q appears to be easy. have paid the price in pre2019 only.

If you have attempted and not cleared Prelims before. Prioritise Prelims. Finish off Optional Paper 1. Finish as much of GS 4 papers - starting with Paper 2, 3 and if possible paper 4. You can do Paper 1 after Prelims. That is the best case scenario, not the ideal.

The ideal is you do everything before Prelims. Ideal type does not exist.
