Mains Open Test 2022 by ForumIAS | 30th August to 1st September

Dear Friends,


Gear up for CSE Mains 2022 with ForumIAS Mains Open Test.
  

As the Mains 2022 approaches we invite you to write the ForumIAS Mains Open Test in the exact exam format as the Civil Services Mains Examination.

We will be conducting the Open Test for Mains 2022 from 30th August to 1st September.  

In the previous years Shruti Sharma IAS Rank-1 and Utkarsh Dwivedi IAS Rank-5 were diligently writing the ForumIAS Mains Open Test for the Mains Examination. 

There will be 4 GS Tests + 1 Essay Test. Solutions will be provided for the same.
 

Why are we doing this? 

  • So that you have the experience of writing UPSC Mains once before you actually write the Mains. 
  • So that you know the time management in advance, and correct it before actual Mains. 
  • So that you have the realistic practice of writing Mains examination.

@TwoFaceI wrote that yes there is backwardness and lack of confidence due to experience of colonialism,  english education system, myth of superiority of the west etc. But there are other reasons as well: social evils of caste, gender discrimination, non-inclusive development experience etc.
At the same time it is not true that we are still backward or underconfident. For example, achievements of ISRO, IT inudstry, International solar alliance, performance at CWG games.

Can someone please tell

1. In mains admit card it is written, 

"Candidates are also advised to bring black ball point pen to the Examination hall for making entries in the attendance list"

So, can we use blue pen for answers in QCA Booklet, or we have to use only black pen there also ?

2. Do we get separate question papers along with QCA Booklets during Mains , or is it just the QCA Booklets ? 

You can use both blue and black for answer writing.

For bubbling, use only black like prelims.

2) Yes you get separate question paper ( which you carry home ), and qca booklet ( which you submit ! )

IF I have taken MGP + program for cse 2023 ;  till when can I write tests, avail mentorship and copy checking?
I mean the validity for the MGP+ tests ends if not given on scheduled date, or till when is it

You can write test till the Mains examination 2023. Test are flexible and can be written anytime after the release date till the Mains examination.
