How often do you cry?

Ever since I started my preparation my frequency of crying has increased a lot. I feel crying is an expression of emotion that is considered so 'unmanly'. Why the hell can't I cry in public, no one gives a fu*k seeing me smile but why crying is so taboo?

I cried for 15-20 min daily for around a month after May 30, 2022. I also thought about collecting tears in a bottle :D, although I didn't do that later.

Crying is cathartic, crying is cleansing. People don't want others to know this secret so they cry in the secrecy of their rooms  ;)

It's quite a coincidence that I am seeing this thread. Cried a good three times today. In a way, happy to know I am not alone in having these 'is it even worth it?' moments.

Reminded me of some more lines , I hope it also answer your question @Tata

@Tata- Even I remember crying multiple times during preparation. It’s okay to open floodgates of emotions once in a while. Crying leads to contentment. But just like with everything else, relying too much on crying can lead to loss of its therapeutic value. Most of the times, I feel its better to use the pain as fuel to hunt your goals.

Crying happens when we don’t give expression to what we feel. Writing is a great tool to channelise those intricate emotions in a more productive way. There’s no hard and fast rule. Cry when it becomes unbearable. At other times, be strong. Cheers.
