@Neyawn Man, I screwed up a bit.
While filling up the question
"18(b).Details of Examination in which you have appeared including CS(P), 2020"
I wrote 2022 instead of 2020 (pic below)

I don't understand how I did not catch this error while proof-reading.
Please suggest what to do next.

Do what people do every year. Write an email to UPSC informing them. Quote all relevant details.

Also do what Neanderthals like us used to do. Write a letter to UPSC. Keep a photocopy. Then send it speed post and keep receipt of speed post slip. Make sure that you take a photocopy of that also as ink gets erased with time as they use dot matrix printer mostly.

The undertaking should be all typed or they will accept the ones where all the blanks are written ??

Plus, is signature also mandatory ?

This is tricky. You have it as per last date. Go ahead with it. You will have to take chances. Commission may not have thought of the wordings.

What browser are you using ?

Govt websites sometimes work best in internet explorer.

I once spend 3 days figuring out a similar problem ( some MNREGS data analysis work. ) until my DC - a completely non technical person opened the IE and did what I was trying for three days.

Of course things have changed now a lot.

Make sure you are using a laptop or desktop and not a tablet / safari

Can a veteran please confirm if there would be any issue if I upload my University Passing certificate and Final year marksheets rather than degree because they have not been issued till now? I called UPSC and they said upload Final year marksheets, did not reply to my email.

You can. Dont worry about that. Many people have not received their degree. Final Years Marksheet will do.

Sir, in the question mentioning attempts, I have mentioned 3 correctly, alongwith the corresponding roll nos.

However, in the immediately next question, Q. Whether have you ever applied for UPSC examination/recruitment?

I marked- NO, (assuming upsc is asking other exams, since csp attempts are already mentioned in previous question)

Some friends are now mentioning even the details of previous cse attempts in this question.

What should be done sir? Already submitted DAF-1.

I can't seem to find the 'Certificate No' in my college degree. Somebody please help.

There should be one. Can you share the image of your certificate in private? In case you do not have one, put NA. If it requires you to necessarily fill a number, put your college roll number.

My college campus shifted to a new location since I graduated, but my provisional degree contains old address. What should I write in the “ address of issuing authority “

The address given on the provisional degree!

Those aren’t the things the commission will trouble you for.

They only trouble you for EWS and OBC Creamy layer issue.

That too , they will scare the hell out of you. Last year we had a kid work for forum for two months just because of this issue. He felt he will never get IAS. In the end out of the blue, he was told to report to LBSNAA at a notice of two days. Creamy layer issue.

@TheMiddlePath one of my friend who is in CAPF only mentioned CAPF in that column and not his upsc attempts since it has already been asked. He faced no issues during or after his interview

They will scare the hell out of you, but with decent amount of begging, they relent and give you time.

DAF issues are the least concern area in your Civils journey. Commission, despite all grievances we may have , does not trouble you for Procedural issues or errors.

Thanks a lot @Neyawn and@TwoFace ;UPDATE: UPSC helpdesk picked up the call today and replied that we are expected to mention CSE previous attempts as well as any other exam given. However, in my case, this is not an issue, and there is no action required from my end concerning this.

@tubelight this country is bizarre, they just don't need a certificate but also when it is issued.I think they will allow to me write either main. I am really stuck in nowhere.

Date matters because you can leave your job after clearing thru EWS to claim benefit.

But asking for undertaking despite having certificate from authority, that's bizarre.
