Take a break, let yourself have some time to be better. And when you come back just bring the lessons with you and a plan. You got this!

It is okay to feel this way , but what matters is how soon and how well we pick ourselves. Starting again is possibly the most difficult thing to do but some of us have to do it. So, see how and what went wrong. Capitalize on your strengths and work on your weeknesses. Reach out to teachers, mentors , seniors you know. They'll probably help you in a better manner 
As far as maintaining consistency at home is concerned , there are three things you can do. 
1. Pick a place to study where no one really comes. Ghar mein hamesha aisa kona hota hai jisko for some reason koi nahi poochta , make it your study spot 
2. I guess keeping a bare minimum list ki no matter what other work comes up utna bare min toh karna hi hai for eg Newspaper or magazine jo bhi aapka source ho and one subject say polity then 1 chap or ten pages from Laxmikanth. 
Point is to keep doing little everyday so that at the end of two months three months five months you would see progress even with bare minimum. That's what I do, so that's all I can say

@Radhika25A I wouldn't say a comprehensive anaylsis, but yes I have looked at the PYQs once and plan to look at them again while I am studying.

1. For instance, If I have finished FR+ DPSP+ FD this week, on Sunday I would try to atleast solve prelims questions which I had taken a look at before reading the topic.

Just going through what is asked backwards 2021 - 2020- 2019 .....2013. Not worrying about the answer , bas yeh pata lage ki FR mein Articles yaad hona chahiye, preamble ka text dhyaan mein rehna chahiye.

When I try to solve them it is about how much I can recall. 

2. For mains , I think first of all try to divide the syllabus into bullet points, forum website has done that , some places have it segregated topic wise , so if you are reading Judiciary , again you simply read the question, after you finish studying go back to those questions and read them again if you feel you can write the answer , try to brainstorm the stucture. 
This what I have planned and some bits that I have done so far. I am not sure it is accurate and correct but you do what makes sense to you

I also gave 5 months to pre, followed sfg-1, did pyq, mocks and everything.. was very confident but couldn't clear again.. I am currently very very confused.. should I go full throttle one more time or should think about a job or something along with upsc this time. 
I just want to know in what direction are people like you thinking and what's your course of action.. so that I can gain some new perspective.
