You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. Hiii people. Good to see you guys putting up daily updates will be joining you guys for sometime now.
As I move towards prelims dominated preparation guided by SFG I am feeling little anxious and nervous because prelims has been my great fear and as@Neyawn says if it has happened it can happen again. So beating my own fears is the objective, which also includes waking up at 6 in winters.

Frustrating score today. I have recognised a pattern when I revise poorly I lack confidence in attempting question hence silly mistakes and not attempting otherwise easy question. Anyone in same league?

SFG is brutal, cruel and demanding. Just what UPSC prelims is expected to be. The competition is so evident here whatever you do there will be people scoring in 90s IDK how.

Could not do anything except SFG. Need to reflect back on how to efficiently utilize my time in coming days. Done with the madness and confusion of first week time for little planning and reorienting the preparation.

Quite a lazy day spent reading stuff and decluttering my mind. Then came weekly rankings barely survived in SFG (idk why I wasn't expecting a weekly rankings). Later Virat resigned and I realised how I have entered my late 20s now. Noting all these things moving into next week.

Done with the test. I was worried I would not be able to write for 3 hours on the go( had very little answer writing practice so far). But I did and while lot of improvement in quality is needed obviously , it was still so satisfying to almost finish the paper in time.
Targets for this Week
1. International Relations- Notes Revision
2. History- Finish Early Medieval (Ch-10 from Upinder Singh)
3. CA- Oct,21 Monthly
4. Revision for next MGP Test
Couldn't read CA monthly. Rest done. Overall a decent week with a lot of positives.

- Plassey to Partition(2nd Reading)
- Revision for next MGP Test(GS-2)
- Prelims PYQ Analysis for Eco and Env.
- and ofc Newspaper+CA
Keep moving one step at a time. The destination will arrive sooner than you realize.
Had a good start but got sick mid-week .So all targets stuck at 50% or thereabouts.
Targets for this Week:
- Finish Previous week's backlogs
- Write last MGP test before Pre.
- Continue with PYQ Analysis.
PS: Has anyone used PMF's Environment book. Would you recommend it instead of Shankar IAS?

Thunderstorm,how are u guys covering current affairs?? i was sticking with EPIC magzine and newdpprs but this CBI VS STATE questn in gs ppr 2 was not in it. although vision mnthly for october had it!
1 Newspaper + 1 Monthly Magazine(Vision) + As many revisions as possible.
I occasionally go through websites like DownToEarth, PRS etc. but only if I have free time in schedule.
Regarding State vs CBI, it was in the news so many times this year. It is a repeated issue that pops up every few months. So Epic might have covered it in some earlier month.
