This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. This is a no-judgement zone.

“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don't get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can't do anything, don't get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it's ready to come undone. You have to realize it's going to be a long process and that you'll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

@sjerngal ma'am could you guide me for anthropology optional?
I have completed paper 1 & paper2 (except some portions of p2) and have made short notes of these
& had given anthropology test series in june 2021 - august 2021 ( had left some test of paper 2 ).
From october 2021 till present , i have not read anthropology.
I don't know where to start now, what to do, which test series to take etc.
Could you please help ?
P.S. I am scoring 94.67 (forum) - 106 (shankar) , so i think it would be worth starting for the journey ahead.
is everyone getting more than 100? on other platforms also people are getting in 100s but cutoff prediction is between 85-90? kya mathematics hai ye..
P.S. was not part of that course.
@Wordsmithyy_nehrubose sorry lady.Although there are some discrepancies in some questions (acc to me - like coins quest, left of A etc).
Yes ! few answers are incorrect i feel
I am scoring around 105-120 in GS-1 according to various keys, but I think CSA dubayega. I feel soo soo bad right now that it couldn't be expressed in words. CSAT is getting tougher and I feel so fucked up right now. Agar clear ho jata hai mata ke darbar mei matha tekhna sure sure hai. Abhi toh yeh soch rhi hun neend kaise aayegi..soun kaise ab?
I was happy with GS and I think CSAT dekhna hi nahin chayeih tha. Anyways will try sleeping. Kal try kregen to enjoy this time with family.
@sstaarr Wow that is a wonderful score in GS-1, especially considering the type of paper it was.
Don't worry too much about CSAT till the official result comes in. Private ones tend to have a lot of mistakes. Also, just wondering - how did you find the comprehension passages this time around? Maths was tougher this time I know.

I have attempted maths and reasoning jyda this time. I found passages easier than 2021 because in 2021 I knew I was struggling with them. Having difficulty in comprehending them. This time this was not the case. I just hope Passages save me. Although I do think the option framing was on a little tougher side and for sure not so easy.

RCs were easy
Getting 82 as per Forum's answer key. This goes up to 90 in the other keys but I'll stick to Forum for now.
But I have serious reservations against several Qs and would like the faculty to take a relook not that it helps but it may calm down many nerves in the student & coaching fraternity:
1. In the NFTs Q: I think all 3 will be correct ->Because NFTs regularly/very commonly function like membership cards or tickets, are used to provide access to events or give special discounts ->these are all commercial transactions. They're settling for NFTs instead of fiat ->And ofc they've been traded or exchanged at equivalency.
3. In the Mongol invasion Question: I feel statement I must be incorrect but again faculty has already taken note of that.
4. Even the clouds Q ->How can we be so damn sure about this phenomenon working in the same manner everywhere ->Ofc it won't - Clouds would behave differently under different conditions(Take for eg in cold climates ->They'd definitely have higher albedo) ->SO I guess UPSC may take a broader view and accept both statements to be true but if it goes with conventional book wisdom we might settle for None of the two are correct.
