@Anduin this will be my first mains..

Also@Rashmirathi , I have zero clue about test series as of now. Right now I am focussing on finishing paper 2 till the result for prelims come out. I mean I know that I will clear it, but I have kept that in mind as a deadline.

Also, I am personally thinking of going for karandeep sir's test series. My only issue with test series is that big institutes take a lot of time to evaluate answers and I am looking for a bit personalised test series. I don't mind if the crowd is less there, I just want somewhat personalized attention from any test series that I join..

Long story short, I am also somewhat clue less about test series. So i will wait atleast till the end of this month to decide on which one to join.

Joined L2A last year. Would not recommend because of delays in checking, lack of personal remarks, no model answers... I'd probably join Karandeep sir's TS this year. But, I think the best thing we can do is to form a group among ourselves and share/ review answers. If anyone is up for it, please tell.

M cent percent ready for forming a peer GRP.. Have completed both the papers... Have done Karandeep sir test series also ... Chakkar ye hai ki ptaa nhi prelims hoga ki nhi ... But still let's form a tg group n give our best... M not so good with technology koi telegram group bnaa lo aur mjhe bhi add kar lo....

Is it good idea to revise paper 1 and 2 simuntaneously or paper 1 then paper2 ? need advice scored less than 200 in 2020.

Have you guys formed a telegram group?

I personally will be studying in a hybrid manner. There just aren’t enough days to fully complete the syllabus so most likely will have to leave out certain topics too. I have no idea what test series to go for. L2A and Vaids will take time. I did take VijethaIAS test series but their system is too wonky and I haven’t written a single test. This is the first time I’m hearing about Karandeep sir. I’ll first want to finish certain important sections first, then will see about test series.

I’m not thinking about the prelims result since now it’s out of my hand. I’m sort of a borderline case and in any scenario, mains ki prep karni hi hai.

Overall there’s 34 Paper-1 topics and 25 Paper-2 topics. Out of these, 15 in P1 and 10 in P2 are large topics which will require at least 2 full days (assuming that you’ve studied them already and have some notes, your own or anyone else’s)

Going by this distribution, it will take 84 days. From now till 7th Jan, there’s exactly 84 days available.

It will be quite tough to do everything and realistically I’m expecting to leave out certain topics to give more time to some important ones.

This will be my first mains (if I clear prelims), so I’m not the proper person to advise on anything. Anyway, in my opinion, do the most important topics first: P1: 2.1-2.5, 3-7 & P2: 3.1-3.4, 4, 5.1-5.3, 6.1-6.4. Then Physical Anthro, remaining topics of P2 and Archaeological Anthro. Revise everything studied on the weekend. Don’t worry too much about answer writing for the first 2 weeks and just try getting in the groove and mastering the basics. During this time skim over previous years’ questions and just scribble factual portions of the answers. Then post October start with daily answer writing (2-3 questions) and join a test series. Revise what has been read and written again and again.

This is the basic outline of my strategy. I’m starting from today and aim to satisfactorily finish by 12th December (Regardless of whether I clear prelims or not). Won’t study anything new in Anthro post 19th December.
